Girls just wanta have fun!!!

And fun we had!!! This past Saturday night I decided to have all of my nieces sleepover (minus Alex, she was in Oregon) They've been hounding me to do it, so I finally gave in, and it was way worth it. We started off the night by eating pizza and bread sticks for dinner, then we all painted our nails (even Livie) afterwards it was dress up time, the girls ram sacked my closet and tried everything on from shoes, hats and even some of my clothes. Well needless to say we worked up an appetite and decided to make brownies, we had a ball, Alivia absolutely loved the pre-cooked brownie mix, she ate a ton and as you can see a good majority of it ended up all over her face and arms!!! By this time it was around 11:30 so we ate our yummy brownies and watched a movie. The next morning we all headed out to McDonald's to eat some lunch before we took them all home. I had a great time girls, we'll have to do it again soon!!!Alivia chowin down on the brownie mix

Makin brownies!!!

Sky wanted us to pull our pants up like Steve Urkel for this picture, what characters we are!!!

Gracee just loves Skyler to death, aren't they cute!!!

GOOOOO COUGARS!!!

I just wanted to give a little shout-out to my BYU Cougars, who I must say are looking fabulous this year!!! They currently hold the nations longest winning streak at 15+ games in a row. We play TCU this Thursday, which in my opinion will be the game of the season (not counting the game against the UofU) If we win this game, which I think we will, we've got it in the bag!!!

GO BYU COUGARS!!!
(oh, and rah rah Utes. don't be a hater cuz I like both!)

Yuen showin off his medal from the race!!!

Our weekend in St George/Vegas was as thrilling and adventurous as I had hoped it would be, Ry and I had a great time on a much needed mini getaway.
We took off for St George on Friday afternoon around 4:45 and arrived at our hotel, where we met up with Yuen and Brenda at 8:10 (3 hrs and 25 min. drive) Ry was haulin the whole way down, it was great to get there as early as we did because it gave us time to go and visit Jo, Jerry, Julie, Whitney and Parker and the condo they were staying at in St. George and we were also able to grab us a bite to eat at the "In and Out Burger" in Washington City, we feasted on big, juicy cheeseburgers and to-die-for french fries....YUM YUM YUM!!! We hit the rack early that night so we could get up early to watch Yuen cross the finish line after racing the much anticipated St. George Marathon. He ran 26 miles in 4 hours and 18 mins, AMAZING. You did an awesome job Yuen!!! It rained the whole race so Jo, her brood, Brandee, Trav and Debbie weren't able to come and watch Yuey cross the finish line....It was Brenda, Ry and myself cheering him on his last few miles. Then we met up with Jo's brood and Christy for some lunch at Texas Roadhouse, we had some great steaks and conversation.
Then Ry and I took off for Vegas(Brenda and Yuen headed for Mesquite for the night) where we met up with Trav, Brandee and Deb. We stayed at the Monte Carlo (super nice!) Then the 5 of us went to the Seafood Extravaganza at the Rio, it was $45 a head for seafood, needless to say I was the only one who didn't partake, I would never pay that for food that disgusts me!!! Then we gambled a bit at Mandalay Bay and at the Westin where Brandee and Trav stayed.
On Sunday Ry and I went to the outlets and shopped our socks off, we got killer deals and made tons of fun purchases. After shopping Ry and I spent some quality time down at the pool at the Monte Carlo, they had a wave pool and a lazy river...We had a blast!!!! That night we met up with Deb to check out the Palms and then headed over to the old strip (The Fremont Experience) to eat at Tony Roma's and to do some more gambling.....Something amazing happened that night too, I won 281.00 on a $1 slot machine!!! I have never won anything gambling, so I was pretty dang stoked. Monday Ry and I just drove home, I headed over that night to see my parentals (they finally returned from their Thailand excursion) then we fell into bed. What a fun and wild weekend.....Enjoy the pics!!!

An update please!!!

So, there really is a reason that it has been so long since the last post.......It's an understatement that we have been super busy these past few weeks but I'm going to blame Ryan for this one!!! Last week was the big muzzle loader deer hunt for the boys (Ry, Jason and Neil) my pops had to miss out this year because he is spending the next few weeks in Thailand with my mom (poor thing!) So the three amigos decided that they would stay in Heber at a Holiday Inn each night after they hunted all day (really roughing it huh?) and Ryan promised that if he took the camera on his excursion that he would bring back a plethora of pictures and stories for me to post on my blog, well.......neither happened!!!! Jason ended up getting a deer (no pictures) and each night they got in the hot tub, went out to dinner etc( again, no pictures) so there went a week of events down the drain....Then to make the situation worse, when Heather, Neil, Ryan, and myself went out to Wendover this past weekend Ryan had left the camera in my dad's truck while hunting.....so once again, NO PICTURES!!!! However this next weekend we will be heading out to St. George to watch Yuen race in a marathon and then we will be cruising over to Vegas for a few nights to party it up, I now have the camera in my possession
so there will be lots of pictures to post when we get back from our little get-away!!!

Keagi and Gracee

So I came across these two pictures the other day and I just had to post them. The first one is of Keagan, We couldn't find him the other day and after about 20 minutes of me searching for him I found him underneath the covers in our bed catching some z's, he is so dang cute. The next one is of Gracee and I when she was over at my house for a play date with me. She is my little buddy, for some reason she really likes to hang out with me, whenever I see her she begs to come over to my house.....She is so dang cute too!!!

What a weekend!!!

What a wild and fun Weekend we enjoyed this past week!!! It kicked off Friday evening when it was girls night with all of the Lim girls: Deb, Brenda Jo, Julie Brandee and Myself. We saw a movie called "The Women" staring Meg Ryan (whom I absolutely adore) and I have to say that it was a really great movie, We then headed over to Red Robin and chatted over some delicious burgers for over two hours, it was a lot of fun!!! Then I joined up with Ry who was over at Neil's and chilled around the fire pit until 2 in the morning.
Saturday morning I was up bright and early to participate in the Cancer walk up at Sugar House Park With Heather B's family and other friends in honor of the late Karen Brown (Heath's mom) It was soooo much fun and it was absolutely fabulous to spend some time with the little "Gray Man" I truly have to admit that Grayson is the cutest baby I've ever seen. I took a million pictures of him, it was way hard to narrow down the few that I have posted...Anyways, I can't wait to do the walk again next year. Oh and I want to give a shout out to all of those who gave me donations to support this great cause. I really appreciate it!!!
On Saturday afternoon Ry, Trav, Brandee, and I headed down to the BYU game in Provo, they were playing UCLA which was supposed to be a fairly difficult team to beat but we absolutely spanked them, in fact we totally shut them out 59-0, GO COUGARS!!! Later that night Ry and I met up with Neil, Heath, Sky and Ai at David's Kitchen for some Chinese food and as always it was amazing!!! Sunday was a much needed day of relaxation, Ry worked all day and I didn't even leave the house all day, it was nice. I love weekends that are jam packed with fun activities, however that's about to end I can feel the chill in the air, I'm trying to get myself mentally prepared for another long, boring winter here in good old UTAH... I'm going to try and spend some quality time outdoors for the next few weeks and try to soak it all in, I suggest you all try and do the same!!!Here we are at the BYU game. Ry, Myself, Brandee and Trav.

These next pictures are of Grayson and some other great shots from the cancer walk.

Deb, Julie, Myself, Brenda, Brandee and Jo at Red Robin after our movie....FUN FUN FUN!!!!

A celebration for Big Heath!!!

Big Heath turned 33 this past Saturday the 6th. So in celebration of her we
had a fun filled evening of watching football, dancing and playing poker (Heath's most favorite thing to do in this world) We started the evening off At Jim's house for some cocktails and to watch the U of U football game. After the game we headed off to club Allure where we all got our grooves on, then the night wrapped up back at Jim's house playing some poker. All in all we had a great night...Happy Birthday Heath!!!

Here are the girls: Me, Little Heath, Gloria and the Birthday Girl, Big Heath.
