Happy Birthday ALex and SKy!

Ali and Sky celebrated two pretty big birthdays today. Ali turned 16 and Sky turned 12! I honestly cant believe how big these two girlie's are getting, it's amazing how time flies by so quickly. For those of you who don't know, my two nieces (who are sisters) share the same birthday, they are exactly 4 years apart. It seems like yesterday that we were all in the hospital celebrating Alex's 4th birthday the day that Skyler was born. We had a fabulous celebration last night at "The Old Spaghetti Factory" Hope you both had a birthday to remember. We love ya Lots!

I'm on a roll and so r those cougars!

Wow, two posts in a week...Things are lookin up!
I feel the need to give a little shout out to my BYU Cougars, well mostly Jimmer Fredette! I am still so in love with this boy. Ry and I were able to catch the game last night up at the Huntsman Center, the Coug's spanked those "Runnin Utes" The score ended being like 104 to 79. Jimmer is an absolute joy to watch, his finesse playing the game is unmatchable, even the 'U" fans were in Awe. He actually ended up scoring 47 points himself....Awesome!!! I'm so sad that this is his last year at BYU, BOO!!! But I can't wait to see him tear it up in the NBA. LOve ya Jimmer!!!

Here are some pics of our date night:

Ry and I right before tip off.

And then a close-up! Some of you may remember this
picture from an older post. I wanted you see his cute face
and to just remind you all that, yes I did in fact get to meet and talk to him
in person......Best night of my life!!!

Starting Fresh

So I've thought about this a lot and what I've come up with is this. I'm starting fresh. It's been forever since my last post and instead of trying to play catch up I'm just gunna act like you haven't missed any big events in my life in the last 6 months....But then again, you really haven't!
The biggest change in the Lim household is that we moved into a new house. I absolutely love our new pad, I'm really not digging the location though. We still live in WJ it's just a lot further west then the old house and it's been hard getting used to the additional commute time and having to drive ten minutes to the nearest store/restaurant/gas station. Maybe one day soon I will learn to appreciate that instead of despising it, I really do love the house itself though!
Other than the big move, nothing new is really going on. The holiday's were fabulous, we spent lots of time with family and friends making new memories and following old traditions. Nothing better.
Here are some photos of a few of our activities over the past couple of months.

Memorial Day Weekend and Rachel's Wedding

Yep, it's true....I'm finally blogging about Memorial Day Weekend, what a slacker!!!
The holiday weekend for us was pretty laid back. We had a BBQ that Saturday at the Bonacci's, The food was fabulous (Jerrod is such an amazing cook,) and we enjoyed our time gabbing and dancin up a storm....Fun times!
On Memorial Day, Ryan, Neil, Sky and I visited Aunt Diane's , Grandpa Miller's and Grandpa Brent's graves and then later that night we headed back over to Neil's house for another BBQ and to roast marsh mellows around the fire pit. It was a beautiful day spent reminiscing about people we love and miss like crazy!!!

This past weekend Rachel (Ryan's cousin) got married! It was a fabulous day for her and her new hubby Craig (except for the horrible flu bug that he had going on, he was so sick all day long!) They got married in the Salt Lake Temple, had there luncheon at Gardner Village and their reception was at "Noah's. " We had a blast dancin the night away, the DJ did a great job. CONGRATS RACHEL AND CRAIG!!!
Enjoy the picks!

Fun Times!!!

The last few weeks have been pretty hectic around here. A lot has been going on. Most of our free time has been spent back down at the ballpark watching Skyler play some amazing softball, She really is a “Lights Out” Pitcher!!! Their team is ranked #1, they are 8-0. Skyler has a pitched a no- hitter so far, so none of the teams have been able to score against her….Pretty cool! Now on the other end of the spectrum and as a direct example of Sky’s philosophy of keepin it real, she is an awesome singer as well. She takes lessons twice a week after school and was just able to play the lead singing part in her chorus group, she did an amazing job….I’m so proud of her. She was stoked because the whole week after her performance, several of the kids told her in the halls at school how “cool” she sounded. I’m loving being such a big part of her life, what a complete joy she is!!!
This Past weekend I was able to spend some quality time with my bestest girlies in the world, Teri and Heather. We went to Liberty Park. Chad, Mark, Chace and Gray were there as well, "BONUS!" Those two little guys are sooo freakin cute! We've got a Mini-Mark and a Mini-Heath on our hands, you gotta love it. (Ryan didn't get to come because he was working...Boo!!!) Chace just turned one so Chad took some amazing pictures of him around the park, they are darling! After the cute photo session, we relaxed under some trees on a couple of blankets. We ate some fabulous food and let the little boys play with each other. We had some great conversations and some good laughs, Mark and I were a little preoccupied with the "LARPING" boys (People that dress up in medieval outfits and pretend to be at war with one another.) They were screaming and running around like crazy, one even got stabbed in the back (by a pretend sword) and fell to the ground as if he were dead…..WOW, the entertainment was great! At some point in the day Mark got a hold of my camera and took some pretty sexy pictures of himself, he thought he was getting one over on me, NOT!!! Now one of his little poses are posted on this blog for the whole world to see.... Somehow I think he will love that idea instead of being mortified. FUN TIMES!!!
Side Note: The first picture below is of Big Heath and I at “Wing Nuts” watching the Jazz game last night, what in the SAM HELL is wrong with them??? Losing by one Point…… REALLY!!!

Heath and I at "Wing Nuts."
