Summer Days

I LOVE summertime! It's amazing how many activities you can squeeze in, in just a week. Here are a few shots of us at the drive-in, playing miniature golf and chillin at Crystal Hot Springs. This up-coming weekend will be filled with hours and hours at the ball park watching Skyler do what she does best, I can't wait. I can't believe that it is already the middle of July, I get serious anxiety when I think about it too much. I just want summer all year around (I could handle snow on Christmas day, that's it though!) Here's to at least 2 more months of warm summer nights, bring it on!!!

4th of July festivities!

Oh how I love, love, love the 4th of July! There is nothing better than a holiday during the summer months. BBQ's, rodeos, carnivals, parades, fireworks and spending quality time with family and friends. We spent the entire weekend taking part in all of these activities. I love the fact that we devote an entire day each year acknowledging our freedoms we get to enjoy everyday and to the men and women in our military that make it possible for us to do just that. I love that my Dad taught us kids to stand, take off our hats and to respect our flag as it passes, I love the sound of the military jets as they fly over head and I am sooo very proud that I am American and that for one day a year I get to celebrate my citizenship in this wonderful country!Cole and Brenton waiting for the firework show to begin at my parents house.

Summer Fun!!!

Over the past few weeks Ry and I have had a couple outings with some good friends of ours. We went to a little bar called "Good Spirits" where we played some darts and got heavily involved in a poker tournament. Neil made it to the final table. I honestly think he could have won it all but after the 4th hour of competition he got bored and kept going all-in. It ended up being a really good time. (Our original plan was to go to the Bees game but it was sooo cold and rainy that we had to improvise and this is where we ended up.)

This past weekend we went camping up to "Hades" We had a ton of fun! It was nice and relaxing. We had a lot of great discussions and laughed a whole lot. We laid out, went up to "Defas Dude Ranch" to play pool and dance and most of all we really enjoyed each others company. Fun times!!!

Neil, Heath, Jim and I posing for a pic. Notice the yellow caution tape in the background, the river was so high that this tape encircled the campground.

The boys cookin us up some yummy steaks!

Isn't Jim a lucky man!

Just a little Update

I don't really have anything too blog-worthy these days, but I'm tired of looking at the same pictures and post everyday so I thought I would give a quick update. I spent Memorial Day weekend up in Park City with the Miller clan (Ry had to work) It was crappy weather and I was way sick so it wasn't as great as I had hoped. Ryan turned 36 on the 1st. He spent the day rabbit hunting (mean, mean, mean!) with a good friend of his and then he and I went to dinner to celebrate later that evening. This past weekend we went out with some friends for a little "Karaoke" fun to give him a bit more of a celebration, good times.
Here are just a few pictures that I captured of these last few events. Hopefully within the next few weeks I will have some bigger and better things to blog about. Until then this will have to do. Sorry!

Easter time!

We celebrated Easter this year by participating in all of our favorite family traditions. Saturday was the Lim Easter Egg Hunt at Jolynn's house. We had a delicious Ham and Turkey Spread with all of the yummy Easter fixins. The kids had a ball hunting for all of their eggs and prizes, it was a lot of fun just watching them.
Sunday we went to the Annual Miller Easter Egg Hunt. I was so caught up in searching for the $5 bills that my dad had hid for the adults that I didn't even take my camera out. We had a great time running around trying to figure out the clues my dad was giving. I of course, didn't find anything again this year, darn the bad luck! My mom made tons of yummy food and it was great catching up with everyone.

SHOT TO THE HEART!!!

Yep it's true, I watched Jon Bon Jovi shake what his Mama gave him last night for two straight hours. Total BLISS!!! I went to the concert with Ter, Heath and Chad and we had so much fun. I felt like I was 17 again, until 10:30 came around and then I felt 33 again, but hey, I was jammin it out pretty good. I'm still deliberating on who put on a better show though, the 40 yr old fans sportin feathery bangs and fanny packs or Bon Jovi???? I'll go with Bon Jovi, but man I sure loved watching those crazy fans!!!
