Prayers For Cassie

Cassidy Allen!

As some of you may know, One of my bestest friends on this planet (Ali Sandberg-Allen,) was devastated with some horrific news two days ago, her little two year old daughter has been diagnosed with a tumor that is connected to her spine and to her brain stem. With an amazing team of Doctors and with all of our many prayers and fasts, it looks (as of right now) that she may make a full recovery. Oh sweet little Cassie girl, keep fighting and know that your Heavenly Father has so many wonderful experiences for you to look forward to in this life.
To keep up on this amazing story, head on over to the link that the Allen's have set up to keep us all updated on her condition http://www.oursweetcassidy.blogspot.com/ We love you Allen's!

That Was My Kinda Party!

I love me some Jason Aldean, Oh yes I do!!! I recently had the extreme pleasure to attend one of his very entertaining concerts. The concert crew: Neil, Lil' Heath, Joe, Cole, Skyler and me, fun group right! This was the kids first concert, and all things considered, they did pretty good. Cole did struggle a bit towards the end, the noise level definitely wasn't his style. Before the concert we filled our tummies with yummy food from Texas Roadhouse, we were just trying to keep the theme country (not really, that was just a coincidence!) Anyways, We had a blast! Here's to good ole "hot" country boys who look great in wrangle jeans and wear really cool chain wallets!

Heath captured this darling shot before we took off for the night.

And here they are a couple minutes before the concert started, happy campers!

Ahhhh, Heath and I.

Neil and I, ready to tear it up!

Oh and I'm way ahead of you, I just knew you would all like to see a picture of Jason Aldean, YUMMY!!! (P.S. check out that "sexy" chain wallet he's sportin!)

Another Potpouri of Events

So this is gunna be a biggy! It's true, I have been a slacker once again! October was incredibly busy for Ry and I, but I'm not complaining, we took part in a bunch of super fun activities. I'm going to try to get everyone caught up on a few of the highlights on how we spent the first official month of fall here in good ole SLC.

First: We celebrated Trav's birthday at Market Street Grill and even though Jen had the little surprise gathering at 9:00 AM on a Sunday morning (I'm not even kidding!) We had a fabulous time!

Ry and I. (Obvious, right?)

Me, Trav's friend, Rebecca and Jen's cousin, Lindsay.

Jen and the birthday boy himself! (sorry for the glare in the back.)

The whole Birthday crew.

Second: Halloween. I just love Halloween, I love how it smells, weird I know, but it's true. The crisp smell of an amazing Utah autumn, wood burning stoves, the lit candles in all of the jack o' lanterns, my Mom's homemade chicken noodle soup, Brenda's homemade hardshell tacos and all of the the yummy candy, I know you all know what I'm talking about. Oh and how can you not love all of those darling little (and big) costumes you see everywhere you turn. Love it!

Alivia's attempt at making a mean witches face!

Addy's gunna give it a go now. How cute!

Gracee and Brenton going through all of their loot.

Cole posing in his costume, how funny!

The Salsa Leedos Crew all dressed up.

And a few of us from Richter 7. Fun times!

Third: Wendover. Ry and I ventured out to Wendover with a few friends a couple of weekends ago, how much fun did we have???? LOTS!

There was actually a huge group that went with us, but as usual, I forgot to take out my camera. I was lucky to capture these two shots. Here is Lex (making a weird face) Ry and "Z"
Lil' Heath, Sherry and myself.

And Fourth: But for sure the most important. I have another niece! Yes it's true, Travis and Jen welcomed little Brynnlie on October 27th. She is a little dolly! That makes 6 nieces and 4 nephews for us and oh how I just love them all to pieces!

Isn't she precious!

Saturday Nite Fun!

How lucky am I? pretty dang lucky! I love that I live so close to family, it makes life oh so much sweeter. Last night I was able to spend some quality time with Joe and Cole (my nephews.) Jason and Heather went out for date night, so I went over to their house and hung out with the little dudes. We ate pizza, Ry stopped by to rope the boys into playing the play station for a bit, then Joe had me watchin a gizzilion funny little videos on you tube, that he thought I just simply needed to see, I read a few stories and then finally got them into bed for the night at 1:45 in the morning. Dang they can sucker me into the old "I need a glass a water, Oh I have to go to the bathroom, and hey let me just tell you one more story" routine. I love it though, I just kinda had to chuckle inside a few times. Oh how I love these boys.

Bad Luck!

I think I might be bad luck for the home team. I ventured up to the Utah Vs ASU game this past Saturday and what do you know....The Utes lost! I think it's best for me to stay at home and watch any/all of the BYU and Utah games that remain this season. I did however enjoy the time I spent with my Mom and Dad, riding the Trax to and from the game, and even though we lost, I still love watching me some football, rain and all!!!

Gracee turns 7!

My Sweet little "Gracee Girl" turned 7 over the weekend, so in honor of her we had a fun little Birthday Bash over at the Lim's on Saturday night. On the menu: Lasagna, green salad, corn on the cob and garlic bread. We ended the night with some yummy stawberry cake that Jen made. Gracee was in 7th heaven with all of the "Justin Bieber" gifts she received ( Oh how it would be to be 7 again!)

Gracee with her Bieber Balloons.

Livie kissing the Beieber Balloon (while Gracee wasn't looking!)

Ry stopped by during his lunch.

Gracee getting ready to blow out the candles on her cake. (There's good ol Alivia lurking in the background again, I just think it's so funny how kids react when it isn't their birthday being celebrated, what jealous little hearts they have!)
Grace opening her presents, what a fun night!

Wow!!!

Wow!!! That's really all I have to say about the BYU vs Utah game. I still can't even believe I witnessed such a pathetic blowout!!! As many of you know, I really do like both universities (I just bleed a little more blue!) and with that being said, that loss stung a little! Ry and I were actually able to go to the game with Trav and Jen and win or lose, I still had a really great time. We made a pit stop in Orem on the way down and ate some yummy pizza at the Pizza factory. I couldn't have asked for a funner crew for date night, Let do it again soon Lims!

A shot of all of us heading into the stadium. Jen was trooper (Being 8 months pregnant and all.)

Ry and I before the game started. (Hence the smiles on our faces still!)
