Flashback Monday!

So I ran into this picture over the weekend, It's of us girls on our trip to the horse races in Evingston WY. From left: Tiff, Me, Big Heath and Little Heath.

What a weekend!

Here's my mom, chowin down some hot almonds we ate at the Salt Lake Real game, she was my date...Isn't she just sooooo cute!!!
Our weekend was pretty low-key....We spent our free time watching the Jazz spank the Lakers and tie up the series 2-2!!!! Go Jazz!!! On Saturday I was able to spend some quality time with my little prego buddy Heather B. We went and saw "Made of Honor" we really liked it, total chic flick!!!!
On Sunday: We went to church, watched the Jazz game, had a bbq at Brenda and Yuen's for mother's day, and then we watched the Survivor finale at my parents house with Sparky...We're dog-sitting while my parents are vacationing it up in Cabo San Lucas. LUCKY!!!
All in all it was a pretty relaxing weekend and as always, flew by.

I would like to take a minute to give a shout-out to my mom, the best mom in the world!!! I could ramble on all day about how great of a person she is. I know it may sound cheesy but she truly is my best friend (not counting Ryan) I just love hangin out with her... She is continually making me laugh, she has an awesome sense of humor!!! I have a lot of fond childhood memories with my mom, she was always very hands on....She wasn't afraid to get down in the dirt to play with us. Her family is her life, she would do anything for any of us, However, I do have to say that once her grandchildren came into the picture my bro's and I were kicked to the curb, she is an excellent grandmother. Thanks for all you do for all of us mom, you are the worlds greatest mom!!!
I can't forget to mention my mother-in-law....Brenda, Thanks for being such a great mom to Ryan and an awesome mother-in-law to me. She is always going way over the top on all of the holidays, and she loves to throw a good party every now and then. She wants all of her family around her as often as possible and she always stresses out to make sure everyone is content and happy....Ryan will cherish the many summers spent camping with his mom, which we still continue to do today....Brenda's very passionate about life and even though she might come off extremely opinionated, her heart is always in the right place....Thanks Brenda, We love ya!!!

Getting to know us:
Ryan and I first initially met when he was 16 and I was 13. My brother, Neil and him became friends in middle school and because of that he was always hanging around our house and like any 13 yr old girl would, I had a crush on him. He was always so nice and more importantly so cute (that matters ya know) Well the years passed, as they always do and he went on a mission, and I went to college at Rick's in Idaho. We ran into one another again at my brother's wedding and from that night in January of 2000 on we have been inseparable. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25, 2002. We own a cute little home In West Jordan and as you know have three adorable cats that we adore. Ryan is a deputy for The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Department, which he loves!!!! It makes me nervous but happy for him that he really likes what he does, not many people truly love what they do!! As for me, I work in the accounting department for a company called 3-form and am pleased to say that I am loving what I do as well. Life is good for us, we are truly blessed!!!! This will be exciting to actually have a paper trail (of some sort) of our lives together. I'll be in touch soon!

Our little baby boy, Keagi!!!
So I'm finally doing it! Even though it's just my hubby, our three kitties and myself right now, we're still a family and this seems like it will be the best way to keep ya'll posted on what's going on in our lives.

Ryan and I have been married for 5 years and 11 months! It's crazy to think that it's already been that long, time flys! We have three cats that we adore, they are like our children and the highlight of our lives. Their names are Kyra Maye, Kinsley Raye and Keagan James...How cute are those names????

This past weekend we spent some fun in the sun with Ryan's family in Mesquite, it was a much needed mini vacation and it was great to get away from this crappy weather we've been having latley!!! Look for some pics from our trip within the next few days....
