Here's the crew: Aspen 08!!!

So we finally did it...Our first camping trip of the summer, you gotta love it... We went up to Hades/Aspen which is in the high uintas (about 30 minutes past Kamas) It was a small group of us but I have to say, it was kinda nice...Here's who came: Mom, Dad, Neil, Lil Heath, Skyler, Joe, Cole, Ryan and myself. Friday night We had tacos, looked for deer, tromped in the river and preformed charades around the camp fire. Saturday We had a nice big breakfast (bacon eggs, pancakes, sausage, and potato's) it was absolutely delicious, then the kids wanted to play in the water again, so we watched them do just that for hours, I got some great candid shots of them...Cole kept getting his shoes stuck in the mud, that's while you'll see him crying in a few of the pictures. We headed up to the ranch for some homemade fries for lunch and we had quite the performance from three workers who were drunker than 10 Indians!!!! We got some great shots of them too....The kids thought it was hilarious!!! Dinner that night was steak and potato's, YUM YUM YUM!!!! Then it was games around the fire until all hours...We played charades again, played the animal clap game and sang campfire songs. We headed home on Sunday morning. All in all we had a fabulous time...It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, there is nothing like being surrounded my nature.

Flashback Thursday, sorry it's not Friday!

So I ran into this old picture of Ter, Heath, Juls and myself....I thought it was adorable!!! If I remember right, it was the night of our taco salad night at Ter's, followed by an evening of board games...Al and Steve stopped by later, too late for the picture of course....And just to make it perfectly clear, Ter hasn't changed a bit when it comes to playing clue!!! Her main goal, cacking the case!!! I think that she's turned Mark into a serious game player too, their game faces are priceless!!! FUN FUN FUN!!!

Happy Father's Day Dad, Yuen and Ryan!

So, I'm a little biast, but I do believe I have the best Dad in the world!!! He recently retired from working for the Government for over 30+ years, He has always been a great provider for our family and I dare say that he truly is a master at all trades... I'm grateful for the sacrifice that he continually made to ensure that my Mom was always able to stay at home while we were growing up, Thanks dad!!! He has recently been helping us with all of our home improvement projects, and we are so grateful for the time that he has put in, the guy never complains...What a trooper....Love ya Dad!!!

I also have to say that I've inherited a great father-in-law....Yuen, You are the most unselfish person I have ever met, You would much rather, spent your time and Money (ha ha ha) on anyone but your self, it truly brings you joy to do things for other people. You have always been such a great friend to me and have always lent an ear when I needed to vent, mostly about your son (again, ha ha ha) I appreciate the close friendship that you and Ryan have shared through the years, You are an amazing person...Love Ya!!!

I couldn't possibly forget to mention how great of a dad Ryan is to our three precious kitties: Kyra, Kinsley, and Keagan....They adore him. He prides himself on taking care and spoiling them to death, his eyes light up when ever one of our precious babies walk into the room...Thanks for being such a great dad babe!!!

We spent Father's day, dividing our time between these two amazing fathers. We had a BBQ at the Miller's and hung out at Flossie's house eating a yummy dessert with Yuen and his family....And let's be honest, we ate a second dinner for the day (Thanks for the salmon Flossie!) All in all it was a great relaxing day spent with the two father's that mean the world to us!!!

A baby Shower for Heath!

I still have to pinch myself when I think of my little Heath havin a baby!!! I have no doubt that she will be an excellent mom....She's had awesome examples throughout her life to be that crazy mom that we all hope that she will be!!! We had a celebration in her honor at Al's cute new home this past Saturday, thanks Al!!! We had a great lunch spread...Prepared my the best little chefs I know...Great job Ter, Al and Char (a little inside joke, but it's true, Char made most of my assignments, what can I say, She is a way better cook then me....I can admit it!) Enjoy the pics of our fun little party!!!! Heath and Chad, Congrats on the upcoming arrival of your little guy!!!!

A Day at the cabin 4-wheelin and BBQ-ING with some great friends from work!

I just had to add a picture of Catherine's daughter, Nicole, It's not a very good one (You can't see her face) but I just wanted to say that she is such a cutie and I had a great time riding the 4-wheeler with her!
Look at me, I think I'm a pro on the 4-wheeler!

So I'm a little behind on the update, what's new right???? A couple Saturday's ago I was able to go and spend the day with some great new friends that I've made at work....It was a family affair, Everyone brought their spouses and the little chillins (Ryan had to work so he didn't get to join in the festivities, maybe next time honny!) We had a great BBQ set-up, we walked down to the fishin hole, played games and rode 4-wheelers (thanks Candice, for truckin them up there) There was just one little mishap, Catherines son Bryce cruised into the trees on his first attempt to ride the 4-wheeler, he was ok, so we all had a good laugh!!! Enjoy the pics of our day!!! Unfortunetly, I didn't capture Bryce speeding into the trees.......That will just be a memory I won't soon forget.

Here are some pre-home improvement pictures, Thanks to Dad and Neil for all of their help, we really appreciate all of the time they have put in to our attempt to bring our house a little more up-to-date!!!!!!Neil driving the back-hoe...What an expert!!!
More of the same....

All ready for the cement to be poured....Let's hope it will be soon!!!
Our house pre-painted, pre-new door, pre-weed pulling....pretty much pre-everything...Just wait for the final outcome!!!!
Ryan eating the "Volcano" our favorite dessert at the Baja Cantina in Park City. We had fun spending the night with Neil and Heath!
Look at the happy couple!!!
And the other happy couple...These two are inseparable!!!
Heath and I, little hotties!!!

Sorry about the lag-time on updates about the Lim fam. We've been busy trying to fix our front yard up a bit.....What a project it has been.... We're concreting the curbing to replace all of the weeds, we're planting trees, flowers and painting the fence!!! We've also decided to buy a new front door and to paint the shutters, it should look pretty spiffy when it's all said and done!!! Now when that will be-----That's another story!!!
Memorial day weekend was pretty sweet, Ry and I had all three days off together (very unusual) We spent some time up in Park City hottubin with Neil and Heath, we saw Iron Man, which we both really enjoyed and spent a lot of time just at our house chillin.
This past Sunday, June 1, Ry turned 33!!! What an old man he is becoming, the good thing is that he still acts like he's 15, yes I did say a good thing!!! Ryan chose to eat dinner at his favorite restaurant, Pagoda's for his birthday and that was about the extent of what we did for the day, Exciting crowd, I know!!!
And that pretty much catches you up to date....I will be posting some pictures shortly of all of these recent events. It's alright, you can be excited!!!
