Christmas Time In Vegas

Here's a few pictures from our mini get-away to Vegas with Neil and Heath. We had a great time. We ate, shopped, gambled, ate, watched the BYU football game at the "Vegas Bowl" and ate....Seriously, we ate sooo much on this trip. Binnions had a great breakfast special,(steak and eggs for 3.99) you can't beat that, we ate that breakfast 3 times. Then there was steak and lobster at Tony Roma's for 10.99, we ate that twice. Saturday while the boys went to the football game Heath and I ate some yummy Mexican food on Tropicana Ave.
We stayed at the Golden Nugget on the old strip, I absolutely love it there, it's so nice and gambling on the old strip is the only place to be. Shopping at the outlets was great too, we got a lot of great bargains. As always, our stay was way too short. Next time we go I hope to be able to stay at least 5 days and to lay out by the pool everyone of those days. Here's to next time,
I LOVE YOU VEGAS!!!
Heath and I all dressed up to head to the outlets.

The Hustle and Bustle......

Where has December gone? I can't believe that we only have 7 more days until Christmas! We have kept ourselves busy taking part in all of our favorite holiday activities.
Last Saturday it was "cookie Day" for the Lim girls. We baked and decorated cookies for almost 4 hours straight! We did take a small break to eat some Chinese take-out we ordered.
That evening was the big Robbins family Christmas party at my house---yikes, I was a mess! It ended up running pretty smoothly. On the menu: sloppy joes, vegis, dips, jello, salads and rice krispies, pretty tasty! We had a special visitor stop by that evening, Santa Clause himself! The kiddos were in 7th heaven, fun times!
CHG (my lovely workplace) has also been extremely into the holiday spirit: We had our Christmas luncheon at Rodizio Grill, we've been doing the eating rendition of the 12 days of Christmas (we eat a bunch of food everyday) and today is our big company "holiday dinner" turkey and ham! And all of the fixins of course. We got a $50 gift card to Target and a little bonus---They really love us!!!
This weekend Ry, Neil, Heath, and myself are heading to Vegas to watch BYU play in the "Vegas Bowl" and to shop!!! Heath and I aren't going to the game- We'll be hittin the town while the boys are freezing!!!
Until next time-We hope Ya'll have a very Merry Christmas and a happy happy New Year!!!

Thanksgiving Festivities

Mom and me in line outside Kmart "Black Friday" morning. CRAZINESS!!!

Thanksgiving with the Lim family, You gotta love self-timer shots. Alivia is laughing like crazy,
she thought it was funny that Ryan would run into the picture at the last minute
after he would set the timer....

Ryan and I over at Neil's house

Little Heath and I all ready for a night out dancing!!!

The boys, thinkin they're tuff...Little did they know what was ahead for them at DA CLUB!!!

Another group shot.

Poker night at Jason's. The dude on the left looks just like Bill Pullman.
He was way funny too. Then there's Jason and Phil.

Cody, Flossie, Rachel and Roberta....They won 5 turkeys between the 4 of them!!!

Alivia and me playin bingo, unfortunetly we didn't have a winning card!

Here's a shot of our table....Fun times!!!

Sorry for the huge lag since my last post, it would be an understatement to say that we have been super busy. Sadly, we ran out of the house on several occasions without our camera, so we don't have a lot of pictures to go along with this update.
Two weekends ago we had the extreme pleasure to be apart of turkey bingo with the Lim family, fun stuff!!! It's pretty simple, you get a bingo, you win a turkey! Ryan's cousin Rachel won two turkeys and her mom won one, what in the heck are they going to do with three turkeys!!! After bingo, Ryan, my friend Shauna and myself met up with some other deputies and their wives at the 5 Monkeys club to watch one of the deputies rock it out in a band that he is in (Hour 13 is the name of the band) it was a little too hard rockish for me but everyone else seemed to dig it!!!
Saturday was the day of the big game, BYU vs Utah. Ry and I started off the the day eating a yummy breakfast at Mimi's Cafe with our friends the Salmon's and then Ry went to the game with Trav (They paid $100 for each ticket, what a rip) they had a lot of fun though. Later that evening we met back up at Jason's house for a long night of poker, we got home at 3:30 in the morning, I'm getting way too old for that crap.
This past weekend was a much needed break from work (4 days off baby) you gotta love Thanksgiving. This year was the Lim's year for Thanksgiving dinner, so Ry and I ate a delicious turkey dinner at Brenda and Yuen's house. I stopped by to say hi to my parents and then headed home to get to bed, I had to be up Friday morning at 3:30 am so that my mom and I could hit all of the sales. We had a great time and actually came home with everything we set out to get. I almost lost my arm at Walmart, but other than that things ran smoothly. That afternoon I hooked up with a few good friends of mine and had lunch (good times) then it was off to Club Habits with Neil, B Heath, J, L Heath and Phil. The music and dancing was great the only problem we ran into was when we were leaving the club, long story, but I will just say that Phil, Jason and Neil almost "Rick Roll'd" a few very large African American fellas that claimed they were packin heat, I guess that 's what happens when you go to DA CLUB!!!
Saturday we hung out with J, and Heath again and Sunday we pretty much slept all day, we're gettin way too old to party as much as we have been these last few weeks!!! Today it was back to the grind...I can't believe we only have 24 days until Christmas, lets hope it snows by then.
And wow, that was a way long post, sorry about that....Look at it this way, you probably won't hear from we for another two weeks, that's a good trade off right??? (pictures to follow within the next few days)

My Little Texas Tornado!!!

This past weekend Neil, Heath, Ry and myself hit the Westerner Club to catch one of the most amazing concerts I've ever been a part of. We saw Tracy Lawrence!!! There weren't a lot of lights, special effects, or dancing, but that's what made it so great, he sang a bunch of "old school" country songs that definitely took me back in time. He is such an amazing artist. The best part of the whole experience is that I was "front row Joe" the entire concert, I probably touched him about 50 times, he was literally a foot away from me..... The batteries in my camera pooped out, due to all the pictures we were taking pre-concert, so I had to use my phone to take pictures of Tracy, so I do apologize about the quality. Thanks Neil and Heath for being apart of such a fabulous date night!!!

Tracy Lawrence.

Tracy Lawrence gettin down...

Aren't they cute...

This is Mark Owen, he opened for Tracy.

Me, gettin peved cuz it took 2 1/2 hours to get some food we ordered.

A little of this and a little of that...

Keagan loves to sneak into cupboards and just chill out, this little dude even knows how to open them up himself.

Here's double trouble, Kinsley and Keagan decided to take their afternoon cat-nap at the top of my closet in all of my clothes, you gotta love em baby!!!

Here we are at Murray Park having a Sunday picnic with all of my Dad and Mom's friends and their families. Pictured in this shot is Cole, Ry, B Heath, Neil, J, L Heath and myself.

And last but definitely not least is my little Kinsley girl chillin by the door, hoping someone will walk by and open the door so she can try to make her escape. She just loves the outdoors!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Here are the two little fairies: Gracee and Alivia.

The two fairies again and a clone(Brenton.)I couldn't get all of the other kids at my parents house to give me two seconds of their time for a group photo, the little ninnies!!!

Ry and I getting ready to head out for some trick-or-treatin with the kiddos.

Nicole(a friend from work) and I posing for a photo op!!!

Ash (another friend from work) and I waiting for all of the festivities to start.

Ry took a few shots of me at the house when I got home from work that day.

Me thinkin I'm a little Dutch hottie!!! Keagi hopped in the photo at the last second, what a cutie!!!

Halloween at the Lim house was as fun and festive as ever. The day began with me dressing up for work as a "Little Dutch Girl". I have to say, that it was one of my favorite costumes ever. We had a fun party at work (with tons of food) then I headed over to Brenda's to hook up with Ryan and some of my nieces and nephews to eat some of her yummy tacos and to go trick-or-treating. We then took Brenton, Gracee, and Alivia over to my mom's house to meet up with Joe, Cole and Skyler to do some more trick-or-treating and to eat some delicious chili and chicken noodle soup(as you can tell, we ate a ton that night!). Shauna also met up over at my mom's house to hang out for a bit. A fun time was had by all.

Also this weekend I had my first official girls only "Bunko Night" with a group of girls from work that invited me to participate, we all had a really great time, I'm really excited that I decided to do it. Afterwards I met up with Ry, Neil, B Heath, L Heath, Jim and Gloria to watch the rest of the Utah game(which they won.) Today I have just been taking it easy and relaxing....It's back to work tomorrow.....YUCK!!!

(Please Take Note: I wore this costume totally different at work than I did at home. The sleeves were on my shoulders and I had brown shorts on underneath, I 'm not that big of a hootchie!!! Just in case anyone was questioning the sketchiness.)

Cute house Ter!!!

Here we are in Ter's living room....Nice pose Heath!!!

Over this past weekend I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Ter and Mark's cute new pad. It was absolutely adorable. It turned out that Al and Heath had the same idea so we decided to grab a bite to eat at Red Rock after our grand tour....Congrats on the new house Ter and thanks ladies for the great conversation over lunch, we'll have to do it again soon!!!

Go Utes!!!

So I warned you that I'm a Ute fan and a BYU fan....Ya'll thought I was kidding!!!
The Utes have a 8-0 record so far this year, which ranks them #10 on the polls, which for me means that for the remaining of the year I am a die hard Ute fan....I'm not a band waggoner, really I'm not...I honestly go for the team that is going to make the state of Utah look the best, this year it happens to be the Utes!!!
On November 6th the Utes play TCU (yes I will be in attendance), that dang team from Fort Worth, that took the Cougars out of the running....And as I have said before, if we can take the Horn Frogs then we've got it and we're BCS bound.
GO RUNNING UTES!!!

My little witches!!!

How much sweeter does this get??? I found this cute little costume at Wallymart and just couldn't resist getting it. Kinsley is so laid back and is always willing to let me try anything on her, so I knew that she would soak up the attention. Kyra wanted no part of it and Keagan sat still for about 5 seconds with just the hat on. Kinsley, you're such a little angel and you look adorable, now you can answer the door for all of the trick-or-treaters Halloween night!!!
Such a cute little back view of Kinsley's witch dress!!!

Keagan with the hat on, doesn't he look sooo happy???

Kinsley, lookin precious!!!
