Tepanyaki: Yummy, Fun and pricey!

We try to be as fair as we can when it comes to hanging out with our nieces and nephews, However, It's always a battle when it comes to who's turn it is to sleepover, ride in our car, or to do some type of activity with us. Are we really that cool and fun? Yep I guess so!!! Bradyn had been ragging at us the most lately, So we finally caved and he was able to spend the entire day with Ryan, running errands and playing that dang play station! That evening I met up with them at Tepanyaki where we feasted on an amazing dinner. The food was way yummy and the entertainment was fabulous, I can't get over how pricey that place it though!!! Anyways, We hope you had fun Bradyn, we sure did!!!

Hangin with the girls!

Girls rock!!! I am not even kidding, sleepovers with the girls are sooo much easier than when we have the boys over. These three were easy breezy. Ryan went with some friends of his to the All-star game up at Sping Mobile field so I decided to have my three favorite nieces over for a girl party! We started the night off with some bubblegum slushies from Leedos, then it was swimming down at our pool, followed by pizza, braiding each others hair, dancing up a storm and ending with a movie. We didn't even get to sleep until 1:30---yikes!!! We did have tons of fun and I can't wait to do it again girlie's!!!

Alivia, Sky and Gracee at Leedos enjoying their slushies.

Swimmin in the pool!

Heath joined us for part of the night too, what cute girls these 4 are.

Jammie time!

And here's what happened when Ryan got home....He neatly placed Alivia and Gracee up on the shelf (way up by the ceiling) in our room, They just love it when he's around. There is nothing like being tossed around and dancing with Uncle Ryan, You gotta love it!

Summer Days

I LOVE summertime! It's amazing how many activities you can squeeze in, in just a week. Here are a few shots of us at the drive-in, playing miniature golf and chillin at Crystal Hot Springs. This up-coming weekend will be filled with hours and hours at the ball park watching Skyler do what she does best, I can't wait. I can't believe that it is already the middle of July, I get serious anxiety when I think about it too much. I just want summer all year around (I could handle snow on Christmas day, that's it though!) Here's to at least 2 more months of warm summer nights, bring it on!!!

The kids goofin around before the movie started at the drive-in.

Sky and Joe.
Cole and Brenton.

Sky, what a poser!

Heath and I, Jammie's and all!

The whole drive-in crew.

The Crystal Hot Springs crew (minus Ry, he's taking the picture.)

Chillin in the hot pots. Brenton thought this was pretty dang cool, except for when Ryan and Neil made him go down the big water slide!!!

4th of July festivities!

Oh how I love, love, love the 4th of July! There is nothing better than a holiday during the summer months. BBQ's, rodeos, carnivals, parades, fireworks and spending quality time with family and friends. We spent the entire weekend taking part in all of these activities. I love the fact that we devote an entire day each year acknowledging our freedoms we get to enjoy everyday and to the men and women in our military that make it possible for us to do just that. I love that my Dad taught us kids to stand, take off our hats and to respect our flag as it passes, I love the sound of the military jets as they fly over head and I am sooo very proud that I am American and that for one day a year I get to celebrate my citizenship in this wonderful country!Cole and Brenton waiting for the firework show to begin at my parents house.

Heath and I doing the same.
